Up! (video)

The babies have both been sick with ear infections and pink eye, but I think after a week of antibiotics, they are finally feeling better. This is a little video of their new communication skills. They both know how to ask for "Up!".

Top 100 Baby Names

Of the three of our kids, I thought Ashlyn's name was the most unusual. I guess I was wrong! Ashlyn came in at the 90th spot on the list for the most popular names of 2008. Shaylah and Caelan did not make the list, even with different spellings.

Decorating the Christmas tree!

We had the pleasure of spending Christmas with Johnny's sister in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia this year. Heather and Kevin have an amazing house and seem to have Christmas trees in almost every room of the house! This tree in the main living room was probably 12 feet tall...and after a few days, the bottom 2 feet of decorations had all been removed by some little hands. They just thought they were helping!

Ashlyn said her first 2 words because of these 2 wonderful animals. "Diddy" and "Doddy" were often heard in their presence. Thanks Paws and Kirby!

The only thing better than waking up to one smiley baby in the morning....is getting smiles from two babies when you open their bedroom door. It's bliss!
